2012-10-29:  Electrical Fire on Irving St

Hurricane Sandy struck Boston Monday, October 29.  There was not much rain until dark, but there were high winds.  Our power was knocked out about 3:45 pm.  A couple of hours later a fire engine showed up at the corner, and I went out to investigate.  One of our trees have fallen over.  Fortunately, not onto the house, but unfortunately on top of a power line.  Ironically, although we had no electricity, the line was carrying 2000V and a merry electrical fire resulted.

	Movie
